CCONSCIOUS SHIBARI WORKSHOP
Focus: "Shibari Full Suspension: the Art of Flying"
- Suspension tying techniques
- Physical & emotional safety
- Switching roles
We will learn tying techniques that enable us to lift the body completely off the ground. There will be a lot of emphasis on physical and emotional safety, both for the rigger and the model. The class will be quite technical, to ensure that everyone understands how the rope behaves when there is a lot of weight and rope friction. We will learn upper and lower body ties that ensure a lot of support for the model. We learn to safely lift and lower the body again to the ground.
You should have experience with Shibari and partial suspension. If you don't have experience with partial suspension or need a repetition, you can contact me for a private lesson prior the workshop. If you are not sure whether you are qualified to attend, please send me a private message.
There will be only space for a small group to provide as much support and safety as possible. Ideally, you come with a friend or partner, but you can also join as an individual, and we will make the pairs on the spot.
It's important to note that our workshop does not involve nudity or sexuality.
It will be a cozy and intimate atmosphere in a small group.
