Dance meets Tantra - Shadows & Ecstasy of Love

We are so excited to be bringing Dance Meets Tantra ("DMT") to the community of Zurich!

Led by an attuned, powerful, and experienced facilitation team, we will establish a trauma-informed foundation of consent, care and self-responsibility to go on a deep journey that weaves together conscious dance, tantra, shadow-work and ritual & ceremony.

We are coming to let go of our masks and to explore the vulnerable, messy, sweaty, beauty of our bodies, hearts, & souls.

Love is one of the most powerful forces in the universe - it is that which binds, creates, heals and transforms.

It is also one of the most beautiful places that we like to hide - hide from the world, hide our vulnerabilities, hide our shadows.

Come unleash the powers of your heart, explore the shadows and ecstasy of of love. At this special Dance Meets Tantra, we will dive into relational dynamics, attachments, shadow work, and playful & ecstatic connection!

We play with our aliveness and our greatest capacity for authenticity, sensuality, connection and creativity.

This 2-day long immersion will include

So, what is Dance Meets Tantra?

DMT - birthed in the USA - has been a sold-out monthly immersion that explores the intersection of dance, transformation, tantra, contact improv, ritual theatre, and shadow-work. It is truly a transformational journey and emerging body of work committed to creating safer spaces for individuals to embrace their own wholeness (the dark and the light) while co-creating a collective group consciousness that is far greater than the sum of its parts.

Perhaps you’ve been feeling the call. For dance to evolve, deepen, and become more energetically attuned. For tantra to be more embodied, playful & activated. You intuitively know something incredible is possible when embodied movers come together with full permission to be alive, connect, and share their magic.

A note on "tantra": for us - tantra is the practice and art of being fully alive. Our intention with Dance Meets Tantra is to support people in coming into greater love, respect and relationship with themselves, each other, and the earth. We believe that dance, eros and tantra are fundamental aspects of being alive, empowered, and creative - so we invite various explorations in support of liberating our creativity and life force.

About the event:

This is an opportunity to spend a day moving, breathing, learning and loving together with an incredible group of embodied humans.

We will create a powerful heart-centered container, set clear agreements, and explore profound connection and movement-based workshops that build upon each other over the course of the immersion.

Your facilitators:

Atilla Çıdam is a facilitator of deeper intimacy with life, death, and eros. He is a transformational coach who creates permissionary containers for people's wild magic to shine through. With his training in tantra, conscious kink, sacred medicine, dance, and shadow-work, Atilla reprogram nervous systems to allow and embody the full range of the ecstatic expression of their life force. He is an ISTA (International School of Temple Arts) faculty, has a PhD in social psychology, and has spent prior lifetimes designing large scale social programs that empower millions to lead fully aligned lives.

Bina Taverna is a Shibari & Tantra facilitator with experience since nearly a decade. She has a diverse background in bodywork, sexological bodywork, coaching, kundalini, BDSM, breathwork, polarity integration, dance and movement practices.

She creates spaces that invite exquisite presence for transformational work. She dances between the polarities of the light and the dark and the ecstasy of diving into the mysteries.

Her offerings provide space for emotional expression, self-love and personal growth, transforming blockages and finding inner power and purpose. Her trauma-sensitive approach creates the safety for vulnerability unfold to explore the depths of our being in a more raw and intimate way. With her approach, Bina brings out loving authenticity in the full range of life.

At Dance Meets Tantra we understand that various forms of privilege can play a role in financial access to our containers. We believe that diversity is an important aspect of building a truly transformational journey and we desire to impact and support all people with our work. We are providing partial scholarships to support individuals from diverse backgrounds to be able to participate. Meals: We will break for lunch and finish in time for dinner. Bring your own lunch!

Time: To maintain the safety, connection and intimacy of our container we ask that participants plan to attend for the entire duration of the immersion
